Psychologist

I have a special interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma and it’s associated conditions such as anxiety and depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Chronic self-harm and Suicide, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), low self-esteem and interpersonal difficulties.

 

I exercise the essential value of recognising the importance of human connection and relationships. It is my belief that all people are individuals with differing values and opinions. It is important to me that you are always treated with respect and dignity.

I am multilingual and apply a cross-cultural approach.

Therapeutic approach

I provide evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). 

I use a strengths based-person centric approach using unconditional positive regard, intuitive and effective communication, and valuing the diversity of culture that encompasses every individual.
