I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults with a range of mental health conditions. Together we will explore your presenting concerns, and plan a treatment approach that is evidence-based and tailored for you.
I have specialised in assessing and treating anxiety/panic, stress, depression, bipolar disorder, emotional dysregulation (ongoing distress that impacts on your day-to-day functioning), grief/loss, self-esteem, identity issues, eating disorders, personality disorders, interpersonal difficulties, and trauma.
I have worked across a range of mental health settings including inpatient and outpatient hospital services, outreach community-based services, and private practice.
My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative to support you in exploring any challenges you're facing within a safe, nonjudgmental space. I aim to empower you to learn new skills and to use your strengths - it's all about you leading a meaningful life. I have volunteered in mental health settings internationally including Sri Lanka and East Timor, which informs a culturally safe treatment approach. I deliver a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and trauma-focused therapies.
